Musique Couture is a music agency in Berlin, founded in 2012.
Our competences are music for films, brands, fashion shows, events, advertising and fashion companies. Musique Couture enriches campaigns with exciting, authentic music. We create music concepts, do research, clear the rights and prepare contracts that are ready to be signed.
Affiliated with the agency are a booking agency for DJs who will find the right sound for all occasions and events, a publisher for music for films, commercials, theater and shows, a division for music where we advise clients including Tiefschwarz, Apples in Space, Maike Rosa Vogel, Leander Haußmann, Doris Dörrie, Ralf Husmann and Arne Feldhusen.
Music Pool Berlin
Music Pool Berlin is the central contact point for music producers in Berlin. This advisory and qualification service provided by actors of the music scene aims to procure Berlin based music producers with information, continuing education and networking contacts, to help them establish successfully within the music industry. Music Pool Berlin is a cooperative project of all2gethernow, noisy Academy and the Clubcommission.
Mute Records was founded in 1978 by Daniel Miller, who, under the pseudonym The Normal, created a determining synth-pop/new-wave/electro-classic (including a cover version by Grace Jones) with the single “Warm Leatherette”! Mute became world famous with signings like DAF, Depeche Mode, Erasure, Moby or Nick Cave and obtained cult status. Current highlights of recent years: Swans, Apparat, Laibach, Erasure, MG’s (Martin Gore) solo album and Plastikman – New Order is about to announce “Anne”!

The »Research Center for Mobile Music Making« (Forschungsstelle Appmusik) is part of the Berlin University of the Arts, located at the Berlin Career College. The aim of the research center is to explore and systematize forms of musical practices with apps, further to show connections with current trends in art and music, and to identify the social dimensions as well as implications for music education. According to the idea of Open Science, contents of research shall be communicated more broadly, to make scientific processes accessible and intelligible to all interested parties and to include both scientists and artists.
Launched from Brooklyn & now based in Berlin, Reveller Records is an independent label revealing widely diverse musical talent and is committed to bringing important social messages through it’s events and music. Reveller was founded by Sky Deep and formed with a family of producers, performers and visual artists — we combine our skills and resources to bring organic sounds the way they’re meant to be heard. Our music is infused with off-kilter, futuristic sounds that include rhythmic variation beyond 4-to-the-floor.
Thomas Jepsen is one of the music programmers for the biggest festival in North Europe, Roskilde Festival. It has been a Non Profit festival since 1971 with focus on environmental and cultural change, where their work with donations support theses changes. Since 1971 Roskilde Festival has generated approx. € 43 million (as of 2016) to Doctors without Borders, Amnesty International, Support the Victims in Iraq, Save the Children and The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and many more organisations. . The festival is run by a non-profit organisation consisting of about 50 full-time employees and thousands of volunteers.

Torstraßenfestival is a Berlin local music festival going into it’s 8th year. TSF takes a current look into the local and international music scenes and encourages: community, discovery, and diversity. Throughout the year our curating team is out feeling the pulse of what is undiscovered and finding artists going to new levels via our own networks and the promoting of shows with our individual live series and other events (M:Soundtrack, Never Work, Shameless/Limitless, Loop Summit, Steirischer Herbst, Music Pool Berlin..). A platform for artists from Berlin and beyond who we feel hit the nerve of the times and with TSF we are able to offer a forum for current development within the various music scenes, via encouraging community networks, promoting and supporting the current festival roster as well as our Alumni from previous years. Its members include around 1,300 labels, publishers, distributors, producers, and artists who market themselves. As a federation, the VUT is committed to the interests of the independent music industry at the German, European and international levels, the core of which is formed by the musicians. As a service provider, VUT offers its members a wide range of consulting, information, and services. These include, among other things, membership and legal advice, training and further training events, the conclusion of framework agreements, and regular industry updates. In addition, through its practice-oriented advice, the VUT contributes to accompanying and supporting young musicians on their paths into the world of music.
