This workshop deals with everything related to music distribution. What is it, anyway? What are the differences between physical and digital music distribution? What types of distribution are there – major, indie, direct distribution, white label? What does the future look like (keyword: multi-rights collector)? Why do artists and labels need a distributor? What role does a label manager play? How does playlist pitching work? How can artists and labels prepare for the distribution of their music? Is there a difference between an artist and a label distributing their music?

Mike Kelly, label manager at Paradise Worldwide for the territories of Africa and Europe, and Alex Flitsch, who has been running the label Connaisseur Recordings for almost 20 years in addition to his work as head of artist and label management at Paradise Worldwide, will answer all these questions.
