GVL: I heard it on the radio | GVL – a partner of the creative sector / EN

If you are a recording musician, there are many people and organisations who can support you in your creative endeavours. One of them is GVL: We take care of the so-called neighbouring rights of over 160,000 performers and labels. If your music is regularly played on the radio, for example, we make sure you get paid for it. Want to know more about GVL? We might not be able to explain how GVL remuneration works in a 30-second elevator pitch, but we can definitely do it in this 30-minute session.

Sandy Backhaus is Manager of the Rights Holders’ Service for performers. She is responsible for providing solid and comprehensive consultation on all relevant topics, such as the conclusion of the contract, the notification process, and the remuneration payouts.

Juliane Fiedler is Head of Communications. Her team ensures that all affiliated musicians, actors, dancers, speakers and labels always know what’s the latest developments at GVL.
