Pilocka Krach: Cable Love Meets Synthie Orgy / EN

A few synths, a few drum machines… let’s go! In this workshop you can experiment with mainly analogue devices and see what sounds you can generate with them. Berlin DJ, producer and composer Pilocka Krach will answer questions like: What does synthesis mean? How does it work? What types of synthesis are there? How are they realised in a synthesiser? What different synthesisers are available? How do they generate sounds? After an introduction to the individual devices and an explanation of the different buttons, you can try out the devices and play around with them.

Several classic devices will be available, including a few of Pilocka’s own, such as a small mobile setup, a mini mixer and various delays and reverbs. So with a hands-on approach, you can plug in cables, push buttons and see what you can do with electronics. Capture the moment, record it, arrange it and enjoy the results! At the end, you will be able to take a sample of what you created back home with you.
 
 
Ein paar Synthies, ein paar Drum machines… los geht‘s! In diesem Workshop könnt ihr mit überwiegend analogen Geräten experimentieren und schauen, welche Sounds ihr damit generieren könnt. Dabei klärt die Berliner DJ, Produzentin und Komponistin Pilocka Krach Fragen wie: Was bedeutet Synthese und wie funktioniert sie? Welche Arten von Synthese gibt es und wie wird das in einem Synthesizer realisiert? Welche Synthesizer gibt es und wie generieren sie Sounds? Nach einer Einführung in die einzelnen Geräte und Erklärung der verschiedenen Knöpfe könnt ihr die Geräte ausprobieren und mit ihnen rumspielen.

Wir haben ein paar klassische Geräte da und Pilocka bringt einige eigene Geräte mit, wie ein kleines mobiles Setup, ein Mini Mischpult und verschiedene Delays und Reverbs. Also probiert sie aus, verbindet Kabel, drückt Knöpfe und seht, was man mit Elektronik alles machen kann, fangt den Moment ein, nehmt ihn auf, arrangiert ihn bei und freut euch über das Resultat! Am Ende könnt ihr ein kleines Sample mitnehmen, das in der Session kreiert wurde.
