This workshop will focus on how independent labels and composers can manage releases efficiently, told from the perspective of Paradise Worldwide. Its topics include:

• Enabling and empowering songwriters by easing the burden of administration
• Representing songwriters worldwide at music markets, conferences and networking events (such as Bogotá Music Market, BIME, XP Music Futures, A2IM Indie Week, Womex, Africa Rising Music Conference, Reeperbahn Festival and ADE)
• Personal support
• Offering publishing models where we are not involved in the rights chain, which gives songwriters and labels more freedom of choice in marketing their copyrights

Juan Aguilar is a musician and composer who also has the role of Composers’ Manager at Paradise Worldwide, where he identifies talent with publishing and distribution potential, adds them to the catalogue and develops strategies to ensure that their music is released regularly, with the highest quality and with increasing global attention.
